FOR MORE INFORMATION SEE THIS MESSAGE FROM THE MOSSMAN’S:

The Mossman’s will travel to central Vietnam in March, to help with several projects that have been supported by Madison Quakers Inc.: the construction of schools and homes, revolving loan funds, the My Lai Peace Park, and raising awareness to support projects for victims of agent orange.  They will be working with Veteran Mike Boehm and his Vietnamese counterpart Phan Van Do who have guided these projects of reconciliation for nearly 20 years. The Mossman’s will visit schools and local families, convey an art exchange between Vietnamese and Sauk Prairie area children, and perform benefit concerts with Vietnamese musicians and Boehm, whose fiddling is well known there. Mike will also be helping Boehm and Do write the story of their work and the paths that brought them together.

The family and Boehm will give a house concert to raise awareness of the projects and funds to support travel and the agent orange project. As they state, “We need to expand the commitment beyond that of just we four travelers.  It is important that we take something more than ourselves to share. And this is about healing for Americans as well.”
