DescriptionMadison-Rafah Sister City Project invites you to a Medea Benjamin Sunday, February 20, 1:30 – 3:30 pm Madison Medea Benjamin, a cofounder of both CODEPINK and the international human rights organization Global Exchange, has been a tireless advocate for social justice for more than 20 years. Medea and CODEPINK have recently broken new ground in the peace movement by courageously taking on the issue of Palestine, including participating in direct action against the siege of Gaza and organizing the Stolen Beauty: Boycott Ahava campaign. Please join us to meet and talk with Medea while she visits Madison to speak at the Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice Anniversary celebration (Saturday, Feb. 19, 6:00 pm, Goodman Community Center).
