DescriptionOur speaker, Barbara Nichols, is the new President of UNA-USA and President and CEO of Barbara Nichols Consulting. In June 2011, she retired as CEO from CGFNS International, an organization known for its international expertise in the education and licensing of nurses and other health professionals. Her talk, Interrelatedness of Globalization and Migration and the Impact on Global Health, will focus on globalization and migration as the duo dynamics of the 21st century. These two defining trends impact all nations, are irreversible and bring cultural, religious, language and ethnic differences to communities world wide. Embedded in these trends are issues of human rights, social justice and the empowerment of individuals. All these forces reinforce that the world is on the move and constantly changing!
